Riley here -
I know, I thought she'd never let me back on the computer! Well, she's let me back on but has left me with these puzzling photos of some sort of parade thing in Bellville, TX!
First of all, these creatures runnin' down what looks like the middle of a street, I assume in Bellville. I've heard of leghorns - some kind of chicken - but my person says these are Texas Longhorns - they're cattle. Sort of like horses, I think.....I mean look at that crazy woman ridin' one!
Anyway, Longhorns - they look dangerous to me and I immediately asked my person where she was while these creatures were runnin' wildly down Main Street! She assured me she was far behind the baby strollers and small children that were lining the street and also in close proximity to a large stone pillar in case the baby strollers did not stop a stampede! Whew - what a relief for me personally that she was only thinkin' of herself!
And the ladies in red? - Why no one here in Walla Walla dresses like that anymore. I understand that when the town was originally founded there were many sites full of ladies wearing these fashionable lookin' duds! Life is a lot more borin' than that now - we just have a lot of jeans and teeshirt types around now:)So, I'll be back tomorrow with more from Bellville. My persons had a hot-dang-diggety-dog time while they were there. Said their family treated them like royal guests - she talks funny since they came home - an accent or somethin'!
Yours truly,

Hi Riley,
I was there with a lost dog named Lady (14 yrs old). She got a little too close to the Longhorns and came running over to us with her tail between her legs. Some nice people nearby found her owner who lived about a mile away and did not know that Lady was missing. The moral of the story? Stay in the yard unless you are on a leash with your person. Don't mess with Longhorns; they're a bit on the nervous side and a bit mean spirited.

Hey, Riley!
It looks like your people had quite an adventure. It's too bad you and Andy didn't get to participate in herding those longhorns. That would be a sight to behold. However, the wranglers might have taken exception to a couple of out-of-state dogs trying to horn in on the longhorn parade.
Thanks CP and Geezer - Sounds like Andy and I were a lot safer at home. These persons of ours are always hanging out with folks lookin' for a thrill:)
